Since we were continuing our little summer road trip from Newport, we were a bit tired when we finally arrived in Boston.
For our mini-moon (primarily due to COVID circumstances), we decided to spend a few days in Greenwich, CT. Over those few days, we mostly did some of our favorite things: eat, shop, and explore.
What a beautiful place to spend the last days of summer! Newport, Rhode Island is a seaside city famous for its sailing, seafood, and mansions on the cliffside.
Since this entire California trip was super low-key and relaxing, we had lots of time to just talk and explore the city with each other.
Ever since my sister moved to San Diego a few years ago, I’ve visited her at least once a year. Every time I visit California, I tell everybody that I’m going to move to the West Coast.
This one just requires three ingredients and some elbow grease. Not only do they taste fresh and homemade, but they’re super fun to make!
We have an excess of overripe bananas, and I was craving banana muffins. I found a few variations of banana muffin recipes, but I settled on mixing two of them and made a few tweaks to zhuzh it up.
(This was only my second cup of the day, I swear!) I personally like drinking coffee-flavored milk, if you know what I mean - so I like that this recipe is basically a coffee cloud on top of a glass of milk.
I know Linzer tarts are traditionally Christmas cookies, but this year I enjoyed one of these for Valentine’s Day. It reminded me how much I love the taste of almond and tart raspberries.

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE Spring Cleaning. There’s just something really cathartic about taking a look at all my clothes, makeup, skincare - and just all the stuff I’ve accumulated (cough hoarded) over the year.
I love trying and buying new skincare and makeup products, however constantly introducing new ingredients to your skin can actually do more harm than good.
The Daily Reviving Concentrate really helps my skin to glow and feel dewy every morning. I am actully about to buy another bottle.. * adds to cart *
As a reward to myself for finishing up older skincare products, I restocked on my favorite Drunk Elephant products again this month.
One distant dream of mine is to open up a café. In college, I used to joke that I would open up a café-slash-bubble tea place-slash-wine and karaoke bar at night.
Tim proposed in October, and it’s been a whirlwind of excitement, family bonding, and wedding planning ever since.
This is Angela, currently reporting to you from a rest area dining table on the New York State Thruway, with my work laptop, phone, and portable chargers plugged in, all vying for juice.
Sometimes it’s painful, under-appreciated, and at times maybe even feels unrequited. But I believe that in the end, we will have been sharpened by loving someone else.
Just when I thought I could pack away my sweaters and scarves, I hear the news of yet another impending snow storm. Ironically enough, today is also the first day of Spring.
All my life, I avoided going to the doctor. But now, I am striving to be more proactive about my health and finding myself trying to see as many doctors as possible.
